Eyebrow lamination involves opening the hair cuticle using a special preparation (thioglycolic acid). The hair then becomes more manageable and flexible. Then the beautician gives the eyebrows the right direction. The eyebrows are lifted up, which not only increases their volume, but also changes the entire face oval and gives the effect of a fresh look. Then a neutralizer is applied – which closes the hair cuticle and strengthens it with active ingredients.
This is an ideal treatment for all women who have unruly hair that is difficult to tame. Lamination will allow you to arrange them in the right direction and give a very natural effect. It is also a great option if you have stiff hair and want to take care of it. Some women naturally have thick and hard hair – this is due to their phototype, genetic predisposition or certain diseases, e.g. hormonal problems. It is in these cases that lamination will work best. If you want to have beautiful, well-groomed and shiny eyebrows – this treatment is perfect for you.
First, of course, registration – you can make an appointment in person, by phone or e-mail. If this is your first visit, it is worth familiarizing yourself with the contraindications described below. The lamination itself is a procedure lasting about 20 minutes. If you have decided to undergo additional treatments (geometry, hair removal, styling with dye), reserve more time in your calendar.
Professional preparations are used during eyebrow lamination treatment. These include, among others: a preparation with thioglycolic acid, which is completely safe as long as the treatment recommendations are followed. Therefore, we advise against performing this type of treatment at home – without proper knowledge, you can easily damage the structure of the hair, and in the worst case, burn your eyebrows. The frame of the eye shapes the entire face, so it is better to leave it to professionals. 🙂 In our salons, beauticians have undergone appropriate training and know how to properly perform this treatment.
There are several elements that exclude you from undergoing the procedure. These include: eye diseases, skin diseases, conjunctivitis, infection around the eyebrows, disruption of the epidermis around the eyebrows, freshly made permanent makeup, allergies to the ingredients of the preparations, chemotherapy. If you are not sure about your health condition or whether you can undergo eyebrow lamination – consult a beautician. In the case of chronic diseases, it is also worth consulting a doctor.
The effects of eyebrow lamination last for about 4-6 weeks. Daily eyebrow care will now be much easier – the hairs are flexible and easier to arrange in the right direction. Remember that the final effect also depends on post-treatment care. After lamination, you should moisturize your eyebrows with oils and comb them daily. This ritual should provide results for up to 6 weeks.
