What is the bikini back waxing procedure like?
Each Time for Wax salon has a toilet to which you will be invited before the treatment. There you can use the bidet and prepare for your visit. This is a great convenience for clients, especially busy ones who value their time and comfort. Then, the beautician will discuss with you any contraindications to the treatment (if this is your first visit) or the effects of previous hair removal (if you are our regular client). We will tell you how to properly position yourself on the treatment bed to reach the areas to be depilated. Then apply the wax, peel it off and that’s it – it’s all over! 🙂 The whole thing takes no longer than 15 minutes.
What products do we use for bikini back waxing?
For each waxing session at Time for Wax, you can choose two types of wax:
- strip wax,
- Magic Wax hard wax.
For sensitive areas – which certainly includes waxing the back of the bikini line – we recommend Magic Wax waxing. This is our original product, the recipe of which we have been working on for over 4 years. Everything to offer you the best possible hair removal effect with the least skin irritation. It worked! Magic Wax sticks to the hairs and they are torn off together with the bulbs. We do not need strips for this, as in the case of classic wax. After both types of depilation, we recommend lubricating the skin with a regenerating product, e.g. sudocrem.

You will find, among others, disposable towels, a bidet, intimate hygiene fluids and disposable underwear that should be put on after washing and drying the skin. This is especially important because the wax should be applied to dry, clean skin – only then will it be possible to remove hair quickly and effectively. The next step is proper positioning on the treatment bed; our beauticians will tell you what position will make their work easier and at the same time provide you with maximum comfort. The actual treatment involves applying wax to the area to be depilated, peeling it off – and that’s it! If the skin is irritated, you can apply a special balm or oil on it. The whole process takes about fifteen minutes, and the effects last up to several weeks. Therefore, it is definitely worth abandoning the razor in favor of wax, especially since in our salons we make sure to provide our clients with maximum comfort and minimize pain. When is the best time to epilate the back of your bikini line?
In order for the wax to cover all the hairs evenly, they should be of the appropriate length. If they are too short, they cannot be effectively removed along with the bulbs; too long will cause greater discomfort when plucking. The optimal moment for waxing is when the hairs are 0.5-1 cm long, although these are, of course, approximate values. If you regularly shave the hair growing between your buttocks, let it grow back long enough for our wax to deal with it. Usually it is a period of about 2 weeks, although it all depends on the individual pace of regrowth. We do not perform hair removal on damaged, severely irritated or inflamed skin – in such a case, we recommend waiting for the skin condition to improve. Although bikini back waxing is not as invasive as a full Hollywood bikini, we also recommend booking the treatment some time after a trip or other special occasion to give the skin time to regenerate.
