For a few days before the depilation date, do not use the sauna and avoid intense sunbathing in the sun or in a solarium. Tanned skin is more susceptible to possible irritations. Ask your partner to perform a coarse exfoliation on your back a day or two before the meeting. This will help you get rid of dead skin, and the hair removal will be more effective. Make sure your skin is well moisturized, but avoid using moisturizing creams and balms. Too oily skin has a negative impact on the adhesion of the wax, which may result in an unsatisfactory effect and the need to repeat the treatment. Also remember about the optimal hair length, which must be between 0.5-1 cm.
Make sure there are no contraindications to waxing. Pay attention to the condition of the skin and check whether there are any unhealed wounds, scratches, blemishes or disturbing changes. Contraindications also include all skin diseases, bacterial and fungal infections, inflammation and purulent conditions, and allergies to wax.
