Torso hair removal for men
A beautifully sculpted torso is a reason for every man to be proud. However, if it is more or less overgrown, many men face an aesthetic dilemma and ask themselves: leave it or remove it? The answer seems simple. A smooth, depilated torso highlights the muscles and reduces sweating on hot days. But doesn’t it also reduce the attractiveness? A bearded torso has long ceased to be an attribute of a real, let alone a well-groomed, man. It is worth removing hair from the torso not only when there is a lot of it and is clearly visible, but also when there are single hairs covering the chest. In both cases it does not look very aesthetic.
Many men have already found out that depilating the torso using a razor, shaver or trimmer does not bring the expected results. The hairs start to grow back after just a few days and the treatment should be repeated. That’s why more and more men of all ages choose waxing – a method whose effects last up to several weeks and, contrary to popular belief, is not very painful at all.
Torso waxing – how to prepare for it
To benefit from a torso waxing treatment, you must be sure that your skin is in good condition – free of unhealed wounds, scratches and skin lesions. If you have birthmarks or moles, show them to our beautician. Remember about the appropriate hair length. This is a condition that enables the procedure to be performed effectively and painlessly. In the case of liquid strip wax, the hairs should be 0.5 cm long, and if you decide to use Magic Wax hair removal, the hairs cannot be shorter than 1 cm.
Make sure to prepare your skin as best as possible for depilation. On the day before the treatment, perform a coarse-grained peeling, and just before epilation, remember to moisturize it. Too dry skin is more susceptible to irritation or micro-cracks in blood vessels, which may result in local bruising. Well-moisturized skin is easier to depilate, making the treatment more comfortable. If you want hair removal to be effective, give up fatty creams, balms and oils. Too oily skin reduces the adhesion of the wax. After depilation, protect your skin with a cream that soothes irritations and do not use the swimming pool or sauna or take hot baths for a few days.
