We perform laser epilation in two Warsaw salons: at 18 Niepodległości Street and 5 Grojecka Street, in Kraków City and Katowice City.

Honesty in relationships is important to us, so we tell it like it is: during the procedure you may feel some discomfort similar to a sting, which is associated with a feeling of warmth in the hair area. This has varying degrees of severity depending on everyone’s individual predisposition.

In people with lighter skin and lighter hair, the side effects are milder.

The darker, thicker and denser the hair and darker the skin, the more intense the skin reactions will be.

Common side effects:

A slight erythema in the hair follicle area is visible after the treatment. If you have dark, thick hair, you may also experience peri-follicular swelling. These effects are normal and last a few hours, rarely up to 2 days, and very rarely several weeks.

Rare side effects:

blisters, scabs (usually heal within a week);
pigmentation changes (mainly caused by not using sunscreen) and can last up to several months;
dark hair may lose pigment and, as a result of lack of absorption, can no longer be removed with laser/light.
Very rare side effects:

permanent changes in pigmentation and scarring;
“paradoxical” hair growth, more common in patients with dark skin

Preparing for laser epilation is very simple. If you plan to have your treatment in the afternoon or evening, then in the morning shave the part of your body that will be epilated. If your procedure is scheduled in the morning, do it in the evening the day before. When shaving before your first epilation, remember to leave a small unshaved area (about 1 cm²) – this will help the beautician assess the color and thickness of the hair.

Remember: a minimum of 24 hours before the scheduled procedure, refrain from drinking alcohol. On the day of the procedure, wash your skin thoroughly and do not use cosmetics such as scrubs, lotion, oil, body butter, perfume or deodorant.

Come to your appointment on time. Together with the beautician you will discuss the most important issues, sign the consent for the procedure and after several minutes you will leave our salon in a good mood, getting closer to achieving your goal – silky smoothness.

Remember that laser hair removal – despite its many advantages – is not a method for everyone. For optimal epilation results, all indications and contraindications should be taken into account before the first treatment, and general and individual recommendations should be followed after the procedure.

Periodic contraindications:

Pregnancy and breastfeeding;
Fever;
Taking antibiotics from the tetracycline group and fluoroquinolones,
Bacterial or viral infection (such as active herpes),
Taking oral retinoids – 6 months of treatment must have passed in order to perform the procedure,
Use of retinol ointments (topical retinoids) at the treatment site – one month must have passed since the end of treatment to perform the procedure;
Photosensitizing medications, photosensitizing herbs such as St. John’s wort or calendula;
Injections in the treatment area;
Alcohol (drank 24 hours before the scheduled procedure);
Vaccinations (wait two weeks after injection).

Permanent contraindications:

Epilepsy;
Diabetes;
Cancer diseases;
Ischemic heart disease;
Blood clotting disorders;
Viral hepatitis;
Autoimmune diseases, such as lupus, scleroderma, vitiligo, psoriasis;
Dermatological diseases of the skin, such as photodermatosis, tendency to hyperpigmentation,
Metal implants;
Pacemaker;
Varicose veins (at the treatment site);
Hyaluronic acid injections, implants (at the treatment site);
Pigmented nevi (congenital and acquired located at the treatment site);
Tattoos (at the site of the procedure);
Prone to scarring and keloids.

Yes, you can perform epilation treatments in the summer as well. Just remember the basic rule, we do not perform the procedure on parts of the body that have been exposed to the sun 2 weeks before epilation. After the procedure, avoid sunbathing for 2 weeks. During the summer-spring period, remember to use a cream with SPF 50. This we recommend all year round, especially in the areas of the face, neck and décolleté.

According to our experience, the optimal number of laser epilation treatments is a series of 7 treatments. That is why we offer you packages with this number of treatments. Purchasing treatments in a package also allows us to offer you a lower price per treatment. However, there are times when you need additional treatments to achieve the desired effect. Then you can purchase individual treatments.
